Rema's songs are like a joker that a DJ can deploy. It always works. The Nigerian 22-year-old shared on his Instagram that 'Calm Down' is the first and only number 1 solo song by an African artist. It is almost a disadvantage that we are so busy enjoying his music that the artist behind it often escapes us. Sometimes people do not recognize the name Rema until you start singing the contagious melody of "Soundgasm" or "Calm Down”. All that, while we can learn a lot from the exceptionally young Rema, his groundbreaking sound and pure attitude to life.
